David Finkelstein, of Goddard & Smith International Realty Inc.
Just a short note to thank you for your time at Goddard & Smith and to wish you all the best in your next venture.
It is not often that one can say in our business that we are truly gentlemen, but that does certainly apply to you. You have been a very positive influence on Goddard & Smith, and an invaluable mentor and friend to myself in a personal basis. I thank you for your caring concern, and gentle counsel.
We will sorrily miss your informed opinions, and the ligitimacy your stewardship has brought to our company.
So let this be \\\\\\\"Bon Voyage\\\\\\\" and not \\\\\\\"Au Revoir\\\\\\\", and may we do many deals in the future.

I have known Mr. Dean Lapointe for over 14 years in my capacity as Administrator of the Greater Vancouver Chapter.
I have worked with Mr. Lapointe when he was a director, vice-president, and president of the Greater Vancouver Chapter. He was president in 1987-88. Just last week, Mr. Lapointe agreed to the request of the current president, to join the 1997-98 Management Board.
Mr. Lapointe is held in the highest regard by his REIC colleagues and the Real Estate fraternity locally, nationally and internationally.
Among his many initiatives, and before the World Trade Centre opened, Dean organized one of the most successful tours for members of the Real Estate Institute of Canada to what is now known as Canada Place.
Mr. Lapointe also served on many local and national committees. In 1989, he was Corporate Sponsorship chair for the national REIC annual meeting and conference held that year in Vancouver; it was one of the most successful conferences ever and set the apttern for future REIC meetings.
Under Mr. Lapointe\\\'s leadership the Chapter won its first \\\"Chapter of the Year Award\\\".

On behalf of Electricite de France, I wanted to express our gratitude for your contribution to the mission and our admiration for your professionalism as well as for the quality of your team.
Last Saturday morning, Electricite de France organized a general debriefing for the participants; all of them said that the highlight of the trip had been the debate which you organized on Tuesday. The expertise of the people you brought, their complementarity and their dedication to answering the participants\\\\\\\' questions, made that lunch a significant learning experience as well as a very memorable event for all the participants.
Please, let me know how we can return the favor. Give my regards to Ruth (I have not often met a lady with so much sensitivity, kindness, intelligence and class).
Very best regards,
